Club Fiat Tipo

Ciao everyone,

First let me apologize for not being able to write this in Italian, I hope someone can translate it to reach more people in the forum.

Today I bring you a piece of equipment that our Tipo's lack from factory.

This "profilato gomma" for the hood, only comes with the 1.6 Multijet II with Automatic Transmission (DCT). The ones in the front doors only comes in the HB and SW versions. Sedans gets none of these.

How do you get them?

You have to go to your Fiat dealership and order them with these numbers:

Hood: 52084704 (20 euros)
Doors: 51983887 (6 euros each one)

Prices may differ from country and dealership.

The one for the hood was out of stock for 3 months, the time that took them to produce and ship mine from Turkey to Italy and then to Spain.

Installation is very simple, you just have to introduce the plastic into the holes that the hood has, and then use the sticker that comes with it in the middle.

For the doors, just introduce the plastic in the holes. (Number 2 in the photo)





To sum it up. If you have a HB or SW without Automatic transmission, you'll need the hood one. If you have a Sedan you'll need all of them.

In effetti con quella guarnizione sul cofano dovrebbe entrare molta meno polvere nel vano motore, certo che porca miseria queste economie barbine io non le capisco tys
Quindi per prendere questo ricambio da quello che ho capito bisogna rivolgersi per forza ad un officina Fiat?

Si. You have to go to a Fiat dealer and order it with the number from the first message.

It took almost 3 months to arrive, but it should be way faster now that they've made more units.

No, effettivamente sotto gli sportelli anteriori non c'è la guarnizione esterna, sono andato adesso a guardarci.
Sicuramente sono utili per ridurre i fruscii del vento alle alte velocità.

Ma potrebbero aumentare la silenziosità nell'abitacolo? Perché purtroppo una cosa che mi da fastidio è la rumorosità lato guidatore. Io ho una Sedan 1600.

I installed only the hood one, my HB already had the door ones. It should increase the silence inside the car yes, especially the door ones.

I'll let you know if the hood ones makes a difference when I get to drive it more.

su ePER con il codice 51983887 non è chiaro se ti arriva un solo profilo o due:

No, only 2. They are only for the two front doors. And yes, same code for sedan.

Maybe ask in your dealership. I can't guarantee if it comes one or two because I haven't ordered that part personally. hdrt78

Nella mia 5 porte c'è questo pezzo.

Ma non quello vano motore

Quello vano motore come ha detto giustamente Jaimz di serie è montato solo sulle versioni con cambio automatico e l'ho anche verificato col magazziniere della Fiat guardando una tipo in showroom che infatti l'aveva mentre la stessa versione di motore e di allestimento però senza cambio automatico non l'aveva ed è rimasto stupito pure lui.

Vano motore mi sa che lo prenderò..quello portiera non ne vedo il bisogno ,non avendo rumori o altro.....o almeno non li sento

Passato oggi in Fiat ordinato anch'io quello per le porte .

Mi han detto che ci vorrà 5/6 giorni. La Fiat deve ringraziare Jaymz ed il forum

Unica cosa è che a me hanno chiesto 16 *2 euro. Boh
